A Short Story Collection
Until It StopsAnd Other Stories
Until It Stops is a dazzlingly imaginative and unsettling collection of short stories by M.P. Newman. Through twelve twisted tales of misguided altruism, this brilliantly written collection explores a single, chilling idea: that the road to Hell truly is paved with good intentions.
From Cold War-era East Germany to modern-day Kansas, with stops in Spain, South America, and the Yucatan jungle along the way, M.P. Newman takes us on a globe-trotting tour alongside a cast of colorful characters, each with a burning desire to fix their worlds and ours, and each unaware that the actions they take will have devastating consequences.
As thought-provoking as it is witty, Until It Stops challenges our preconceptions and prejudices—and whether we’re prepared to pay the price for the “better world” we all seek.
These poignant, character-driven, and achingly relevant short stories will instantly and irrevocably intrigue fans of absurdist magical realism and science fiction.
